Team Group ha annunciato i moduli di memoria DDR3 per sistemi di tipo desktop denominati Team Elite DDR3 1866 CL13. Le nuove soluzioni, in virtù di una frequenza di clock notevolmente elevata, possono vantare una banda per il transferimento dei dati pari a 14.928Mbps.
I nuovi moduli, che rispettano naturalmente le specifiche fissate dalla JEDEC (JEDEC Solid State Technology Association), sono implementati con l'ausilio di DIMM a 240-pin e di un PCB a 6-layer. Inoltre, essi sono polarizzabili a 1.5V e hanno un timing CL (Cas Latency) pari a 13.
Saranno commercializzati a breve con capacità di 4GB e 8GB e quindi anche in kit da 8GB (2x4GB) e 16GB (2x8GB).
