Resolved Issues
The following section provides a summary of the issues that have been resolved in the latest version of the ATI Catalyst Software Suite for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
- Enabling CrossFire no longer results in display corruption being noticed when playing certain 3D games such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2006 and Madden Football. Further information may be found in topic number 737-23006
- ATI Catalyst Control Center->Help: Clicking on the Monitor and Digital Panel Properties found in the Contents section of the Help no longer results in a message indicating that the page cannot be displayed. Further details can be found in topic number 737-24351
Known Issues
The following section provides a summary of open issues in the latest version of the ATI Catalyst Software Suite for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
- FAR CRY: Playing the game on a system running either the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition or Windows XP operating system may result in corruption being noticed when using an ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 series of products. Further information can be found in topic number 737-23452
- Using Movie Maker 2.1 to capture video under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition results in the captured video being corrupt. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19820
- Attempting to re-enable any display device other than the primary or secondary display device that has been disabled by CrossFire, may result in the operating system failing to respond. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21663
- ATI Catalyst Control Center: Creating a profile for Assigned Image Panel Settings and a second profile for Avivo Color aspects may result in the profiles not being applied when toggling between the two profiles. This issue is known to occur when using an ATI Radeon X1800 series product under the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system. Further details can be found in topic number 737-22824
- The Record function currently fails to work when using an ATI All-In-Wonder X1300 and time shifting is enabled. Further information can be found in topic number 737-22014
- Quake 4: Attempting to play the game under the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system may result in the game failing to launch when using an ATI Radeon Xpress1200/1250/1270 product. Further details can be found in topic number 737-24540
- City of Villains: Entering the ATI Catalyst Control Center and going to the 3D->Standard Setting, followed by selecting Optimal Quality may result in display corruption being noticed when launching the game. Further details can be found in topic number 737-25235
